Provide person-centered dementia care at Bethany Sylvan Lake, supporting residents’ daily living, dignity, independence, and holistic well-being.

As a Health Care Aide, you will work on Long Term Care Dementia 2nd Floor in a permanent, part time assignment. The role calls for responsive care based on resident care plans, with accurate reporting and attention to physical, psychological, spiritual, social, and emotional needs. Previous experience is preferred,



not required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver care aligned with resident plans and procedures
• Support daily living while preserving privacy and dignity
• Monitor and document residents’ holistic needs
• Report observations promptly to Registered Nurses or Licensed Practical Nurses
• Participate in evaluating and changing documented care needs

Requirements:

• Government of Alberta approved Health Care Aide certificate
• Grade 10 education and current CLHA registration
• Strong observation, communication, and problem-solving abilities
• Effective English communication in speaking, reading, and writing
• Previous Health Care Aide experience preferred but not required
