Required Qualifications Education: Grade X.

Experience: Directly related experience in a long term / chronic care facility an asset; Working knowledge of washing machines and other related equipment; and Previous housekeeping experience, an asset.

Abilities and Skills: Ability to communicate in English is required; Demonstrated interpersonal relationship and communication skills with residents’ families and co-workers; Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision; Demonstrated ability to follow verbal and written instructions; Versatile and capable of adapting to change; Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in courteous manner; Mental and physical health to meet the requirements of the job; Ability to organize and establish priorities regarding workload; Ability to demonstrate a satisfactory employment record, including attendance; and Current Criminal Record Check for the Vulnerable Sector and Adult Abuse Registry Check deemed satisfactory by the Employer.

All staff are hired for the facility.

Employees may hold more than one position in diefferent Actionmarguerite facilities, where the sum total of hours does not exceed 1.0 full-time equivalence.
