Job Summary We are seeking a Data Analyst for a contract opportunity within a fast-paced retail merchandising environment in Brampton.

This role is ideal for an analytical, detail-oriented professional with experience using data to support merchandising, pricing, promotions, and category performance decisions.

As a Data Analyst, you will work closely with senior category leadership, vendors, and cross-functional teams to help drive sales, margin, tonnage, product assortment, and customer-focused retail programs across a large store network.

Key Responsibilities - Support the development and execution of merchandising strategies across product assortment, retail pricing, promotional activity, and in-store placement. - Analyze assortment, planograms, pricing, promotional results, sales, margin, tonnage,



and category performance to support business recommendations. - Assist with end-to-end promotional programs, including product selection, forecasting, financial analysis, vendor coordination, pricing recommendations, and post-program evaluation. - Collaborate with merchandising, operations, supply chain, marketing, loyalty, e-commerce, media, and other internal teams to execute category initiatives. - Build and maintain positive vendor relationships, support vendor meetings, assist with costing discussions, and contribute to assortment and program decisions. - Research competitive activity and industry benchmarks related to pricing, assortment, promotions, merchandising, and retail trends.

Compensation and Benefits - Contract/temporary opportunity for approximately one year, with possibility of extension or permanent hire. - Salary range: $25 to $31 per hour. - Hybrid work model requiring 4 days per week in office. - Flexible working hours. - State-of-the-art facility with great amenities This is currently for an active job opportunity.
