Wright Tree Service of Canada -Requires forestry operations experience -Must hold a heavy truck driver's license -Chainsaw experience required -Involves remote work and travel required Title: Heavy Equipment Operator Type: Full time/Non-Exempt Reports to: General Foreperson Essential Functions: Operate various equipment for general site preparation, landscaping, and related assignments.

Ensure proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.

Load and unload equipment from trailers.

Perform routine inspection and general maintenance on equipment.

Perform other duties as assigned or needed.

Minimum Requirements: Valid Class A or B CDL with airbrake endorsement and clean driving record.

Ability to reach, climb, kneel, lift (up to 50 lbs.) and walk for extended periods of time Experience operating heavy equipment is preferred.

Must be a motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently.

Must be dependable, punctual and have a strong work ethic Must be detail oriented and have good communication skills Ability to read and complete daily paperwork Occasional overtime required including some Saturdays
