Job Description Insight Global is hiring a Senior Automation / Remote Operating Centre Engineer for an initial 12-month contract with potential for extension, supporting a major mining development.

The preferred location is Saskatoon, with consideration for qualified candidates located elsewhere who can travel periodically.

This individual will oversee and coordinate development of the operating philosophy for the site and Remote Operating Centre and work across engineering providers, project stakeholders, and the Electrical and Instrumentation group to develop the overall approach to site automation and remote operations.

Responsibilities: • Oversee and coordinate development of the operating philosophy for the site and Remote Operating Centre • Coordinate project stakeholders to develop the overarching approach for the Operating Centre • Coordinate the Engineering Service Provider's efforts to develop streamlined and fit-for-purpose deliverables • Provide presentations and updates to Engineering Leadership on the status of deliverables • Manage overall schedule and budgets to support timely and cost-effective delivery • Coordinate with the existing Electrical and Instrumentation group on automation of the mine site Skills and Requirements • Engineering experience related to industrial automation, controls, instrumentation, electrical, or a comparable discipline • Experience developing or coordinating automation, control,



or operating philosophies • Experience coordinating multiple technical and project stakeholders • Experience working with engineering providers or consultants • Ability to manage and coordinate engineering deliverables, schedules, and budgets • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to provide updates to engineering leadership • Mining or mineral-processing experience • Underground mining experience • Large-scale greenfield project experience • Remote Operating Centre or centralized operations experience • Mine-site automation experience • Experience working with Electrical and Instrumentation teams • Experience coordinating Engineering Service Providers • P.
