You will prepare meals to high standards, support kitchen operations, and keep your workplace orderly. Success requires cooking education, food safety certification, and hotel or restaurant experience.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare a wide variety of foods and meals
Serve meals to the highest standard possible
Inspect food and equipment daily, weekly, and monthly
Support professional kitchen operations
Leave work areas clean and tidy
Requirements: Two to three years as a Second Cook
Experience in the hotel or restaurant industry
Valid food safety certificate
Post-secondary cooking program completion
Ability to work well under pressure
