Serve Central Alberta communities as a Primary Care Paramedic Rover with Medavie Health Services West. Use sound judgment, professionalism, and patient-safety practices.
This temporary Rover assignment involves treatment and transportation before hospital care. Maintain vehicle readiness, communicate with patients and agencies, protect confidentiality, and participate in quality assurance. Hours may include days, nights, and four-on-four-off nights.
Key Responsibilities: Respond punctually and remain ready at shift start
Maintain vehicles and approved professional uniform standards
Create complete patient care reports
Report incidents to the General Manager or designate
Participate in community education programs
Requirements: High School Diploma or G.E.D.
Alberta Operators License class 1, 2, or 4
Current Alberta College of Paramedics registration
CPR certification maintained
FARE Certificate required
Support MHS West patients through dependable readiness, skilled communication, safe transport, and complete emergency documentation.
