Support outpatient clinic services in Winnipeg as a Unit Clerk using basic computer skills and strong patient support abilities. This temporary daytime position is based at MacCharles.
Reporting to the Unit Manager, the Unit Clerk performs clerical tasks and supportive functions for patients, staff, and the department. The work includes supporting patient comfort and routine cleanliness within the clinical environment. CancerCare Manitoba provides personal protective equipment and training for this position.
Key Responsibilities: Perform clerical tasks for outpatient clinic services
Provide supportive functions for patients and staff
Support patient care and comfort
Maintain routine cleanliness of the clinical workplace
Use personal protective equipment after provided training
Requirements: Complete a recognized Health Unit Clerk course
Demonstrate basic computer skills
Perform physically demanding tasks, including pushing chart carts
Maintain a satisfactory employment record
Legally work in Canada
