Support privacy compliance and risk management at CPABC, applying FOIPPA and CASL knowledge in a full time position. Work with confidential information and stakeholders across the organization.
Reporting to the Privacy Officer, the Privacy Program Specialist supports CPABC’s Privacy Office. The work covers personal information collection, use, disclosure, retention, and destruction. You will also assist with incidents, training, assessments, documentation, and legislation monitoring.
Key Responsibilities: Support Privacy Office inbox and confirmation request operations
Assist with privacy incident containment and investigations
Support privacy training and awareness activities
Conduct low to moderately complex privacy impact assessments
Maintain records systems, directories, policies,



and procedures
Requirements: Knowledge or exposure to privacy, compliance, or regulatory requirements
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Solid judgment, decision making, integrity, and professionalism
Attention to detail with independent and collaborative working ability
Microsoft Office and SharePoint proficiency with cybersecurity understanding
Bring privacy compliance, risk management, and collaborative stakeholder skills to CPABC’s Privacy Office while supporting FOIPPA and CASL responsibilities.
