The Content and Communications Specialist works within an integrated, cross-channel digital team supporting recruitment objectives. Responsibilities span email marketing, SMS nurture planning, audience segmentation, HTML templates, campaign reporting, and stakeholder consultation. Communications must be timely, relevant, accurate, and aligned with UBC’s brand.
Key Responsibilities: Shape strategic email plans and cross-channel campaign calendars
Develop nurture journeys for prospects, applicants, and students
Produce campaign copy, visual assets, templates, and designs
Ensure messaging meets brand, CASL, FIPPA,



and privacy requirements
Track performance and recommend campaign improvements
Requirements: Undergraduate degree and three years of related experience
Proven experience creating effective, high-volume email campaigns
Excellent written communication and email copywriting skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Accuracy, discretion, and sensitivity to cultural differences
Bring content strategy, email marketing, CRM expertise, and thoughtful audience communication to UBC’s recruitment ecosystem.
