Role Description The Cashier role at AECOM is a full-time, in office position based in Mississauga, ON. In this role, the cashier will handle customer transactions, process payments accurately, and issue receipts while maintaining a courteous, professional demeanor. Day-to-day responsibilities include operating point-of-sale systems, reconciling cash drawers, and following company procedures for cash handling and recordkeeping. The cashier will respond to customer inquiries, resolve basic payment or billing issues, and escalate complex concerns to the appropriate team members.



The role also involves maintaining a clean and organized work area, supporting inventory or administrative tasks as needed, and collaborating with colleagues to ensure efficient front-end operations.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess robust cash-handling and point-of-sale skills, including accuracy in counting, reconciling, and recording transactions.
Candidates should possess customer service and communication skills, including the ability to interact professionally with diverse customers and resolve routine issues.
Candidates should possess basic math and data entry skills, including comfort with numeric calculations, transaction recording, and use of standard office or retail software.
