Lead enterprise health, safety, and environmental strategy at Clutch while working fully in office in Mississauga, with travel as needed.As Clutch’s first Director of Health, Safety and Workplace, you will build a national function for a multi-site production and logistics business. You will own the Safety Management System, regulatory compliance, environmental programs, and enterprise HSE risk register. Reporting to the Head of People Operations, you will advise executives, present to the Board, and hold operational leaders accountable for protected execution. The role includes building the HSE team, developing training, and strengthening worker engagement.Key Responsibilities:
Set national HSE strategy, governance, and executive investment plansOwn the Safety Management System and annual internal auditsManage regulatory registers,



environmental programs, and permitsLead incident investigations, corrective actions, and claims managementBuild HSE teams, training programs, and worker reporting systemsRequirements:
Seven-plus years of progressive HSE experienceThree-plus years in senior leadership with national accountabilityHands-on Canadian OHS legislation experience across provincesExperience building HSE management systems and teamsWorking knowledge of ISO 45001, WHMIS, TDG, and WSIB/WCBBring executive leadership, regulatory expertise, and systems-building experience to Clutch’s national HSE mandate.
