This student internship supports accounting activities within Sunoco LP’s Information Technology function. You will review invoices, prepare accruals, support journals, reconcile accounts, and monitor spending against budgets and forecasts. The work connects IT, Finance, Procurement, project teams, and vendors while maintaining accurate records and improving financial processes.
Key Responsibilities: Review invoices and validate coding for monthly IT activities
Prepare accruals, journal support, and account reconciliations
Investigate budget variances and summarize spending for IT leaders
Track purchase orders, vendors, contracts, commitments, and payments




Prepare Excel reports and dashboards with accurate financial data
Requirements: Enrollment in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related post-secondary studies
Preference for students in third, fourth, or fifth year
Foundational accounting, financial statement, budgeting, and reconciliation knowledge
Microsoft Excel proficiency with formulas and pivot tables
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and explicit communication
