We are seeking a Family Practitioner with Enhanced Surgical Skills (ESS) or Obstetrical Surgical Skills (OSS) to join a cooperative and supportive medical team in the vibrant community of Smithers, BC.

This is an exciting opportunity for a physician who enjoys providing comprehensive rural medicine while practicing to the full scope of their training. The successful candidate will join a team committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care across the Northwest region.

The Incoming Physician Will Provide a Combination Of
Comprehensive family practice
Hospital-based care
Emergency department participation (optional depending on interests and call arrangements)
Surgical assisting and ESS/OSS services
Obstetrical care, including cesarean sections (for OSS physicians)
Cooperative care alongside family physicians, specialists, nursing staff, midwives, and allied health specialists
