Okane seeks an Intermediate Geotechnical Engineer to develop conceptual models and creative solutions for closure plan development. Apply geotechnical design, instrumentation, monitoring, tailings characterization, numerical modelling, and data interpretation.

Collaborate with clients, technical leaders, and project stakeholders while supporting investigations, proposals, workshops, and technical documentation. Your work helps address stability, liquefaction, consolidation, and responsible land return.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop conceptual models supporting closure plan development and design
Assess stability, liquefaction, and consolidation through numerical modelling




Plan field investigations for tailings and mine projects
Interpret laboratory and monitoring data supporting project execution
Prepare, review, and authenticate advanced technical reports

Requirements:
Bachelor’s or postgraduate degree in Geotechnical, Civil, or Geological Engineering
Minimum six years of qualified experience
Experience in mine and tailings operations or closure
Professional designation in the residing province
Solid technical, business writing, and collaboration skills
