Within Diagnostic Services Administration Charlton, this regular part time position handles departmental communications and patient processing. Responsibilities include General X-ray registration, reminder calls, requisition review, order placement, and follow-up with multiple client groups. The schedule may include afternoons, days, evenings, and Monday-to-Sunday work.
Key Responsibilities: Register General X-rays and place internal and external orders
Make appointment reminder calls to patients
Reject requisitions presenting patient safety concerns




Complete requests for examination image CDs
Respond to call bells and notify appropriate staff
Requirements: Two-year accredited Office Administration Health Services education
Hospital administrative support experience of at least one year
Working knowledge of hospital patient processing systems
Knowledge of radiology terms
Ability to multitask while providing excellent customer service
Use patient registration, scheduling, and medical administration expertise to support Diagnostic Imaging patients at St. Joe’s.
