Job Title: Registered Counseling Therapist Location: Toronto Immigration Holding Centre (Onsite, 4 days/week)Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday Reports To: Manager, Clinical PracticePAY:$90/hr Position Summary Bayshore Northern Staffing is seeking a Registered Counseling Therapist for part time work to join a healthcare clinic that provides medical services to clients of various risk levels.

This includes but is not limited to: adult males, adult females, families, pregnant women, 2SLGBTQI+ individuals, minors, persons with medical condition or disability, addictions, people with suspected or diagnosed mental illness, and victims of human trafficking. The Registered Counseling Therapist will provide assessment, treatment, and coordination of care for clients when medical attention is required or requested by the client.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Conducting individual assessments. Providing addiction counseling and therapy. Developing individual treatment plans.



Evaluating and monitoring individual progress. Maintaining and updating records. Making appropriate referrals to medical specialists. Providing awareness about external resources for continued support.CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:Minimum of three (3) years of experience within the last five (5) years as a Registered Counseling Therapist.A master’s degree (Psychology, Social Work, Nursing) and skilled certification from the provincially regulated authority.A certificate in Mental Health and Addictions Counseling.SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:A valid RELIABILITY STATUS security clearance (full reimbursement).A Vulnerable Sector Check (within one year).
