Reporting to the Manager Human Resources, this full-time Payroll and Pension Plan Administrator handles payroll for Yukon Hospital Corporation and Foundation. The work includes annual T4s, remittances, and the Employees’ Pension Plan. Strong payroll knowledge, analytical skills, and Microsoft Office ability are central.
Key Responsibilities: Process regular bi-weekly payroll for YHC and YHF
Prepare annual T4s accurately and on schedule
Submit payroll remittances to required authorities
Administer the Yukon Hospital Corporation Employees’ Pension Plan




Apply collective agreement requirements during payroll administration
Requirements: Payroll Compliance Practitioner designation from Canadian Payroll Association
Two years’ recent payroll experience in a unionized environment
In-depth payroll administration knowledge and accounting background
Knowledge of payroll and pension legislation and regulations
Solid analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
