You will maintain transit vehicles through inspections, repairs, diagnostics, documentation, and readiness checks. The work supports reliable transportation services for Kelowna’s community.
Key Responsibilities: Perform preventive maintenance and annual vehicle inspections
Diagnose mechanical and drivetrain systems
Complete brake, suspension, engine, clutch, and transmission repairs
Document work orders, parts, supplies, and maintenance activities




Inspect repairs and verify vehicle readiness before service
Requirements: Red Seal certification or registered fourth-year apprenticeship
Class 5 British Columbia licence with Air Brake Endorsement
Willingness to obtain a Class 2 licence within three months
Appropriate mechanic’s tool set
Solid troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills
