You will process prescriptions, complete independent final checks, compound medications, and help patients use medical devices. Key Responsibilities: Receive, transcribe, and verify current and refill prescriptions
Conduct independent final checks before dispensing prepared prescriptions
Prepare non-sterile and sterile medications
Gather medication histories and administer authorized injections
Maintain inventory, records, and third-party billing
Requirements: Complete a CCAPP-accredited Pharmacy Technician Training Program
Remain registered and in good standing with Alberta College of Pharmacy
