Support patient care in Pain Management with the Interlake-Eastern Regional Health Authority at Selkirk Regional Health Centre during day shifts.
This Unit Assistant works within the clinical support stream as part of the health-care team. The position requires ward clerk and Health Care Aide certification, patient-care equipment knowledge, electronic health record competency, and MS Office proficiency. Duties follow established policies and support the Authority’s mission, vision, and values.
Key Responsibilities: Perform duties related to patient and client care
Use equipment required for patient and resident care
Apply established policies while supporting health-care services
Communicate clearly with patients, clients, and team members




Organize and prioritize assigned tasks with minimal supervision
Requirements: Ward Clerk Certification from a recognized educational institute
Health Care Aide Certificate from a recognized educational institute
Current BCLS certification or obtain it within three months
Demonstrated electronic health record and MS Office proficiency
Ability to respect confidentiality and culturally diverse populations
Bring patient-care support, electronic documentation, and organized communication to the Pain Management team in Selkirk.
