Support resident comfort at Cogir Senior Living through routine repairs, minor maintenance, and attentive customer service. This position focuses on electrical, plumbing, and mechanical work.
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Assistant maintains retirement residence facilities and equipment. The work includes inspections, painting, minor carpentry, grounds maintenance, and housekeeping duties. Success requires independent work, repair knowledge, and careful safety practices.
Key Responsibilities: Execute routine repairs on electrical, mechanical, and plumbing equipment
Paint, perform minor carpentry, and maintain exterior grounds
Inspect premises for maintenance and safety concerns regularly




File required reports with the supervisor
Complete housekeeping, maintenance, and assigned handyman duties
Requirements: Follow oral and written instructions in English
Work independently and self regulate effectively
Move heavy objects while performing necessary physical duties
Carry out minor facility and equipment repairs
Provide a current Vulnerable Sector Check or obtain one
Bring practical repair skills, safety awareness, and resident-focused service to Cogir Senior Living maintenance operations.
