Combine transportation communications and data analysis with public outreach for the CVRD’s transit and active transportation work. This position is based near Duncan.
The Sustainable Transportation Assistant provides technical and administrative support within the Operations Department. Reporting to the Manager – Sustainable Transportation, the position supports public communications, surveys, reports, presentations, and day-to-day logistics. It also assists with infrastructure inspections and delivery of the CVRD’s regional transit service and active transportation network.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare transportation reports and presentations from analyzed data
Support web-based marketing, advertising, and social media communications
Deliver public outreach and educational programs




Assist with grant application preparation
Coordinate logistics for transit and active transportation portfolios
Requirements: Diploma in marketing, public administration, planning, or related field
One year of related experience, preferably in local government
Experience analyzing data and developing surveys
Experience working with partners and interest-holders preferred
Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License for required inspections
Use communications, survey development, data analysis, and outreach capabilities to support CVRD sustainable transportation operations.
