The Cycle Counter maintains accurate inventory records through cycle counts, discrepancy investigation, and process support. You will examine pick and reserve slots, research receiving and put-away errors, and address product damage. The work also includes inventory reporting, quality checks, and adjustments.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct accurate cycle counts across pick and reserve slots
Investigate out-of-balance items and inventory discrepancies
Research root causes of inventory variances
Monitor inventory levels and record transactions timely
Generate reports on inventory performance and discrepancies
Requirements: High school diploma or GED
Two or more years of experience
Basic data analysis and trend interpretation skills
Robust analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally
Apply cycle counting, inventory analysis, and discrepancy resolution skills to support Sysco’s accurate distribution center operations.
