Use die repair and press troubleshooting skills at DBG Canada in Mississauga, working on site to reduce production downtime. This is a contract role.
As a Die Maker, you will maintain production and fabrication tooling in quality working order. Your work includes inspecting dies, diagnosing faults, completing repairs, and improving die functions. You will also construct prototype tooling from concepts and work to blueprint tolerances. DBG Canada operates five facilities across Canada, the USA, and Mexico, serving major OEMs.
Key Responsibilities: Maintain production tooling and fabrication equipment
Inspect and diagnose dies requiring service
Repair dies and troubleshoot press problems
Constantly improve die functions
Complete accurate time tickets and work information
Requirements: Tool and Die Certificate and Grade 12 Diploma
Two years of die build experience
Experience with progressive and hand transfer dies
Ability to read blueprints and standard drawings
Ability to work to blueprint tolerances
Bring die maintenance, press troubleshooting, and blueprint skills to DBG Canada’s Mississauga production and fabrication operations.
