This experienced Estimator prepares complete project estimates for a construction and renovation company serving the Ottawa-to-Kingston corridor. Responsibilities span quantity takeoffs, blueprint and specification interpretation, quote comparison, and final pricing. You will review historical costs, manage multiple tenders, and support junior estimators while working with internal and external project partners.
Key Responsibilities: Develop cost estimates for construction and renovation projects
Use Bluebeam or HeavyBid for estimating
Review historical costs and improve estimate accuracy




Obtain supplier and subcontractor quotations
Submit competitive bids by tender deadlines
Requirements: At least three years of estimating and pricing experience
Proven ability to prepare estimates independently
Strong blueprint and specification reading skills
Hands-on Bluebeam or HeavyBid experience
Ability to work in-office and collaborate effectively
Bring commercial estimating, bid pricing, and construction software experience to projects serving Ottawa and the Kingston corridor.
