Provide respiratory therapy across ICU, Emergency, and inpatient units at Peter Lougheed Centre in Northeast Calgary. Work includes 12-hour day and night shifts.
As a Respiratory Therapist I, you will assess patients, develop care plans, and monitor progress. You will manage diagnostic and therapeutic equipment, collaborate with clinical teams, and educate patients, families, and healthcare providers. The role supports Respiratory Services across operationally assigned areas.
Key Responsibilities: Assess patients and develop respiratory therapy care plans
Monitor patient progress and implement respiratory interventions
Support ICU, Emergency, wards, and other assigned units
Provide equipment training for healthcare providers




Educate families about diseases, medications, equipment, and treatments
Requirements: Active or eligible College of Respiratory Therapists of Alberta registration
Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
Current BCLS-HCP certification with expiration date
Ability to transport, lift, and position patients
Ability to push and pull respiratory equipment
Apply respiratory assessment, equipment support, and patient education skills across Peter Lougheed Centre’s clinical services.
