As Department Manager, Deli, you will coach team members and deliver operational excellence through customer experience, food safety, health and safety, and merchandising. You will communicate business objectives, analyze department metrics, and support sales and customer loyalty strategies. One to three years of retail experience and Food Safe Certification are required.
Key Responsibilities: Lead the deli department as coach, mentor, and resource
Deliver customer experience, food safety, and merchandising excellence
Train, recognize, and retain team members through performance management
Review financial reports and present department KPIs
Lead inventory counts and resolve period-end issues
Requirements: One to three years of retail experience
Food Safe Certification
Leadership experience is an asset
Business-related post-secondary education is an asset
Knowledge of sales targets and profitability
