Support therapeutic programming and client care at Carewest’s Bridgeland Riverside Care Centre in Calgary as a Therapy Aide.
This regular part time or full-time position works within Complex Mental Health under close supervision. You will support clients experiencing severe and persistent mental illness, concurrent disorders, cognitive impairment, behavioural challenges, and complex psychosocial needs. Person-centred, trauma-informed, and harm reduction approaches guide activities that promote independence and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities: Assist clients with activities of daily living
Facilitate individual and group recreational activities
Support exercises, games, social events, and therapeutic programming
Observe, document,



and report changes in client behaviour
Communicate programming feedback to interdisciplinary care teams
Requirements: Graduation from Grade 12 is required
Current active Basic Life Support Provider CPR certification
Ability to establish therapeutic client relationships
Ability to collaborate within interdisciplinary care teams
Related hospital or continuing care experience preferred
Bring compassionate therapeutic support, documentation, and relationship-building skills to Carewest’s Complex Mental Health programs in Calgary.
