Alberta Health Services is seeking a Food Service I for its Food Services unit at Smoky Lake Health. You will prepare food according to established menus and guidelines, package and portion items, serve patients and customers, and maintain clean service areas. The assignment is temporary part time, with days, evenings, and weekend shifts as scheduled.
Key Responsibilities: Perform routine basic food preparation tasks
Package and portion food items according to standards
Prepare menu items using established guidelines
Serve meals to patients and customers
Clean and sanitize equipment, dishes, tables, and serving areas
Requirements: Completion of Grade 10 or equivalent
Ability to lift food, supplies, and equipment up to 46 pounds
Ability to push and pull meal carts up to 250 pounds
Ability to walk and stand throughout the shift
Satisfactory criminal record check or Vulnerable Sector Search
