Provide community nursing care as a Registered Practical Nurse with ParaMed in North York, Ontario, through scheduled patient visits.
This part-time position supports patients of all ages in varied settings, with registered nurse support for more complex patients. You will help patients remain comfortable at home while practicing autonomous, ethical, and safe nursing care. The work includes assessment, care planning, patient engagement, and record maintenance.
Key Responsibilities: Participate in scheduled community visits within your scope
Provide ethical and safe nursing care
Assess individual patient needs using appropriate techniques
Monitor and adjust care plans as required
Maintain qualified patient records after encounters
Requirements: Current College of Nurses of Ontario registration as an RPN
Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
Willingness to travel between patient residences
Experience with vulnerable populations
Required on-call coverage, including after hours
