Support recovery and independent living as a bilingual Social Worker with Ottawa Salus, serving clients and families Monday to Friday. This full time unionized position offers 35 hours weekly.
Working in the Fisher Transitional Rehabilitation Housing Program, you will provide individual and group support, rehabilitation, and education. The position requires client-centred care, family support, crisis intervention, and knowledge of mental health and substance use health. You will report to the Program Manager while helping clients pursue rehabilitation goals and housing stability.
Key Responsibilities: Build trusting relationships with clients and their families
Coordinate intake, tours, visits, and discharge case conferences




Develop family education programs and rehabilitation materials
Design, implement, and evaluate therapeutic client groups
Refer clients to housing, financial, and community resources
Requirements: Master’s degree in social work
Registration with the Ontario College of Social Work
Two years’ experience supporting adults recovering from mental illness
One year’s experience working with families
Mandatory bilingualism in French and English
Bring supportive relationship-building, rehabilitation knowledge, and bilingual communication to clients at Ottawa Salus.
