The Manitoba Métis Federation seeks one worker for its Métis Community Resource Department at the Thompson Regional Office. This position supports clients navigating complex social systems through assessment, documentation, referrals, and follow-up. You will also facilitate meetings and workshops while providing compassionate assistance during grief or crisis.
Key Responsibilities: Deliver direct community outreach and regional services
Advocate for clients navigating social systems and programs
Complete intakes, assessments, documentation, and accurate files
Develop action plans, support networks,



and progress follow-ups
Facilitate meetings and workshops for community members
Requirements: Degree or equivalent experience in social services
Previous social service or community development experience
Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and program standards
Microsoft Office and virtual communication tool proficiency
Valid Manitoba driver's licence and reliable vehicle
Bring outreach, advocacy, assessment, and referral skills to support Red River Métis clients through MMF services in Thompson.
