This Payroll and Benefits Specialist administers payroll for multiple union and non-union groups, their dependents, and beneficiaries. Responsibilities span wage rates, allowances, leaves, garnishments, benefit entitlements, pension information, and statutory requirements. Key Responsibilities: Calculate payroll according to legislation and collective agreements
Monitor leave banks, WorkSafeBC assignments, and contractual pay
Reconcile payroll and perks general ledger accounts
Process deductions, overpayments, advances, and recoveries




Respond to staff, agencies, providers, and authorized organizations
Requirements: At least five years of recent payroll or benefits experience
At least five years working with an HRMS or HRIS
