Deliver patient-focused emergency nursing at William Osler Health System through assessment, critical thinking, and compassionate care. This permanent part-time position includes 12-hour days and nights.
As a Registered Nurse in Osler's Emergency Department, you will provide quality care within an inter-professional team. Apply the nursing process, recognize changing health statuses, and support patient safety. The work includes health teaching, discharge instructions, infection prevention, and culturally responsive care.
Key Responsibilities: Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
Provide professional, patient-centred emergency nursing care
Recognize health changes and respond to emergencies




Deliver patient and family health teaching
Follow infection prevention and observation procedures
Requirements: Current College of Nurses of Ontario registration
Two years' recent medical-surgical experience required
Emergency experience within five years preferred
Arrhythmia interpretation competency and BCLS required
ACLS certification required within six months
Use emergency assessment, patient education, and cooperative nursing skills to support safe care at William Osler Health System.
