Interior Health is hiring an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse in Williams Lake, BC, supporting long term care through assessments and medication administration. Work rotating days and evenings at Deni House.
This permanent part time 0.84 prospect sits within Interior Health’s Long-term Care team. The Licensed Practical Nurse provides care according to competency guidelines, BCCNM Standards of Practice, organizational policies, procedures, standards, and unit-specific protocols. Shifts rotate between 07:00 to 15:00 and 15:00 to 23:00.
Key Responsibilities: Perform assessments for assigned long term care clients
Plan and implement personal and nursing care
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary care team
Administer oral, subcutaneous, and intramuscular medications
Operate within the full scope of practice
Requirements: Licensed Practical Nurse qualification
Experience in practical nursing
Knowledge of BCCNM competency guidelines
Ability to follow organizational standards and protocols
Reliable, flexible, and motivated qualities
Apply practical nursing expertise in Williams Lake through assessment, medication administration, and standards-based client care at Deni House.
