Production planning and inventory control leadership define this full time, onsite Supervisor position with Winpak Division in Winnipeg. Balance capacity, waste, inventory, and delivery needs.
Reporting to the Production and Inventory Control Manager, you will lead planning, scheduling, inventory control, reporting, and product data administration. The supervisor guides approximately 19 employees when fully staffed. This work supports operational decisions, departmental goals, process improvement, and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee production planning, scheduling, workloads, and capacity constraints
Lead inventory control and maintain accurate production data
Coordinate planning issues with Marketing, Accounting, Purchasing, and Manufacturing




Set priorities and monitor day-to-day employee performance
Coach employees and develop training and cross-training programs
Requirements: Post-secondary diploma or equivalent education and experience
Four-plus years in production planning, scheduling, and inventory control
Knowledge of materials requirements planning and computerized bills of materials
Leadership experience guiding teams or coordinating work
Ability to analyze information and recommend practical solutions
Use production planning, scheduling, inventory control, and coaching expertise to support Winpak’s Winnipeg operations onsite.
