Intact seeks an Auto Field Appraiser for its growing team, handling vehicle damage claims across varying complexity. You will examine vehicles, assess repairs, and support claims adjusters with accurate appraisals. The position combines collision repair knowledge, analytical skills, and customer-focused communication.
Key Responsibilities: Examine vehicles using software applications to determine accident damage origins
Assess and approve repair estimates for claims adjusters
Establish vehicle market values using approved appraisal tools
Use digital evaluation systems to standardize estimates and prevent errors




Negotiate and communicate best repair practices and procedures
Requirements: Three to five years of collision repair industry experience
Collision estimating or repair experience with Audatex and Mitchell
Automobile physical damage repair and replacement knowledge
Ability to prepare auto repair estimates using Audatex
Solid analytical, verbal, and written communication skills
