Within a partner-led boutique firm, this Senior Accountant manages multiple engagements with independence and direct client communication. You will understand each owner’s business, structure, and financial circumstances while keeping deadlines moving. The position includes reviewing junior work, supporting Staff Accountants, and collaborating with Partners and Managers.
Key Responsibilities: Manage multiple client files, deadlines, and commitments
Gather client information and answer engagement questions
Build understanding of business ownership structures




Support Staff Accountants with technical questions
Work with Partners on complex client matters
Requirements: CPA designation or substantial progress toward completion
Approximately 3-5+ years of Canadian public practice
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organization and attention to detail
Comfort taking ownership in a smaller firm
Use client management, technical accounting, communication, and leadership skills while supporting diverse privately held businesses and their owners.
