The Unit Manager oversees a 34-bed Acute Inpatient Unit within the Addictions and Mental Health Portfolio. Reporting to the Program Manager, this experienced leader supervises Recreation Therapists, an Addiction Counselor, and a casual nursing pool. The position leads clinical care, supports safe patient care, and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams across hospital and community settings.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily operations for the 34-bed Acute Inpatient Unit
Directly supervise Recreation Therapists, an Addiction Counselor, and nursing staff
Lead clinical care and foster positive team culture




Drive change management and quality improvement initiatives
Participate in Grey Nuns working groups and committees
Requirements: Graduate of a Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse program
Current registration with a regulatory body
Minimum five years’ Addiction and Mental Health experience
Strong leadership, critical thinking, and conflict resolution skills
