The Salvation Army seeks a Day Service Facilitator for its day program facility. You will implement individual plans, facilitate activities, and attend to health and medical needs. The work supports member involvement, personal development, independence, and respectful social interaction.
Key Responsibilities: Implement individual plans and gather members’ goals
Facilitate group activities, events, and spiritual care programs
Provide personal care, medication administration, and emotional support
Transport members safely while following traffic laws
Record activities, behaviours, incidents, and vehicle usage
Requirements: Completed high school, Grade 12, or equivalent
Valid Manitoba Class 5F driver license
Criminal record check including Vulnerable Sector completed
Child Abuse Registry and Adult Abuse Registry checks
Fluent spoken and written English
Bring attentive observation, sound judgment, and interpersonal skills to facilitate protected, respectful day services for members in Winnipeg.
