This Welder-fitter role requires two to less than three years of experience and English. Work includes custom fabrication, welding equipment operation, and material weldability assessment. Candidates need a one- to two-year college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma, or equivalent experience.
Key Responsibilities: Interpret welding process specifications and technical documentation
Operate manual, semi-automatic, and automated welding equipment
Read welding blueprints, drawings, manuals, and processes
Examine welds against required standards and specifications
Maintain welding equipment and complete minor repairs
Requirements: Two to less than three years of experience
English language ability
Canadian Welding Bureau Certification
GTAW, GMAW, TIG, and MIG welding experience
Own transportation; public transportation is available
Use custom fabrication, blueprint interpretation, and welding inspection skills as an in office Welder-fitter in manufacturing.
