As a Highways Intern at Egis, you will support civil modeling and highway design within a multidisciplinary engineering team. The work includes alignments, corridors, grading, surfaces, drawings, traffic analysis, and standards interpretation. You will also contribute to field work, estimates, tender documents, and environmental assessments.
Key Responsibilities: Develop highway design plans using OpenRoads, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D
Create plans, profiles, cross-sections, and engineering drawings
Analyze traffic patterns and incorporate safety considerations




Conduct site inspections and gather field data
Prepare cost estimates and tender documents
Requirements: Zero to two years of civil modeling experience
Experience with road alignment, corridors, grading, and surfaces
Working knowledge of Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and Autodesk platforms
Familiarity with Ontario and Canadian road standards
Solid coordination, documentation, and version control skills
