Reduce shrink and fraud across Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s stores through loss prevention leadership, investigations, and inventory controls.
Reporting to the Regional Asset Protection Manager, this manager protects retail people, property, and proprietary information. The position analyzes risk, identifies profit loss, investigates criminal activity, and partners with inventory control to mitigate inventory loss. It also strengthens employee awareness through education and training while supporting consistent regional programming.
Key Responsibilities: Analyze shrink and risk reduction opportunities affecting profitability
Develop criminal activity case files and prevent recurrence
Partner with inventory control to mitigate inventory loss




Ensure property and people remain protected and secure
Support regional initiatives advancing asset protection programs
Requirements: Two to four years in retail asset protection
Education and asset protection experience may be combined
Eligibility for restricted and non-restricted Firearm PAL
Eligibility for a provincial Security Guard License
Wicklander Zulawski certification preferred
Use retail loss prevention, case development, and inventory control experience to reduce exposure across Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s stores.
