This Junior Accountant assists the Senior Accountant and Controller with accounting transactions under Company and GAAP guidelines. The work includes reconciliations, KPI data, fixed assets, standard costing, and period-end files. The Calgary office reports remotely to Belleville operations.
Key Responsibilities: Assist processing weekly financials with accounting leadership
Reconcile accounts receivable and General Ledger accounts
Maintain KPI data and standard costing files
Support fixed assets, accruals, prepaids, and period-end files
Prepare management reports and assigned accounting duties
Requirements: College diploma or university degree in business or accounting
One to three years of related accounting experience
Robust analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Availability one weekend monthly and independent work capability
