Northern Lights Public Schools seeks an Educational Assistant for a temporary full-time 1.0 FTE assignment commencing as soon as possible. The position supports students’ educational program needs, including social skills, behaviour skills, self-help, and personal care. Kikino School serves approximately 95 students from ECS to Grade 8.
Key Responsibilities: Assist students with educational program needs
Support social skills and behaviour skills development
Assist with self-help and personal care needs
Work one-on-one and in group settings




Support protected, caring, inclusive learning environments
Requirements: Post-secondary training or Educational Assistant experience
Knowledge and experience with behavioural strategies
Computer proficiency and documentation procedure knowledge
Experience with alternate communications strategies
Criminal records check including vulnerable sectors check
Bring compassionate student support, behavioural strategy knowledge, and personal care experience to Kikino School’s educational programs.
