The Social Media and Community Engagement Coordinator brings junior hockey excitement to life through storytelling and meaningful interactions. You will showcase promotions, entertainment, personalities, and community connections surrounding the team. The role also supports audience growth, promotional marketing, and memorable fan experiences.
Key Responsibilities: Create platform-specific content for team experiences
Showcase game nights, promotions, and special events
Grow social reach and deepen fan engagement
Communicate theme nights and community initiatives
Coordinate charitable requests and community events
Requirements: Post-secondary degree or two years related experience
Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok content experience
WordPress or website editing software experience
Adobe Photoshop or similar creative software experience
Evening and weekend availability as required
Bring creative storytelling, social media expertise, and community connection skills to the Edmonton Oil Kings fan experience.
