Under a Supervisor’s direction, this Clinical Support position oversees food production, distribution, sanitation, safety, and portion control. You will prepare menu-based and therapeutic foods, monitor temperatures, and support Nutrition Services coordination. The work includes ordering supplies, assigning client chores, maintaining quality assurance, and following applicable policies, procedures, regulations, and legislation.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare therapeutic and texture-modified foods according to approved menus
Monitor food temperatures through storage, preparation, and service
Coordinate kitchen activities and daily quality assurance processes
Order, receive, check,



and store food and supplies
Maintain clean, safe, effective kitchen equipment and documentation
Requirements: Grade 12 under Manitoba standards
Dietary Level II, recognized quantity cooking course, or journeyperson certification
Current Food Handler Training Certificate Level 1 or willingness to obtain
One year of health care food service or institutional cooking experience
Organizational, communication, problem-solving, and independent work skills
