This part-time position supports residents and clients under supervisor direction while following Extendicare standards, policies, and procedures. Responsibilities include personal care, meal preparation, protected transfers, confidentiality, and responding to resident or family concerns. The role requires sound organization and time management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and prepare nutritious meals when required
• Facilitate resident moves and transfers where applicable
• Maintain confidentiality of resident and client information
• Respond to concerns and communicate appropriately

Requirements:

• Minimum 600-hour Ontario or Alberta equivalent program certificate
• Demonstrated knowledge of personal care duties
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support and First Aid
• Vulnerable Sector Check or willingness to obtain one
