Design satellite bus systems at MDA Space using spacecraft systems engineering, subsystem integration, and verification expertise. Support missions across their full lifecycle. As a Satellite Bus Systems Engineer, you will support platform definition, design, integration, verification, and on-orbit activities. The work spans structures, thermal control, power distribution, attitude control, propulsion, flight software, and payload interfaces. You will work under senior system engineers while gaining exposure to complete spacecraft-bus development. Key Responsibilities:

Translate mission requirements into platform subsystem requirements Support architecture, interface, and design documentation Perform analyses and maintain performance budgets Prepare verification plans, test matrices,



and validation procedures Support integration, testing, commissioning, and anomaly investigations Requirements:

Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering, aerospace, or physics At least two years of LEO, MEO, or GEO system design Knowledge of spacecraft bus subsystems and interactions Power-electronics and precision attitude-control hardware experience English communication skills and Confluence and JIRA experience Bring spacecraft systems engineering, analysis, integration, and testing expertise to MDA Space satellite-bus programs.
